In this beautiful center hall colonial home in Short Hills, New Jersey, Perri Swift Interiors had the privilege of designing the first two rooms guests see upon entering the home— the formal living room and dining room. The clients wanted elevated, luxurious spaces that would also be comfortable and cozy, and most importantly, remain pristine with two young boys and two dogs. The formal living room is outfitted solely with performance fabrics— including the rug— to ensure that any food or wine spills could be cleaned up effortlessly. Similarly, in the dining room, the mohair fabric on the chairs and performance rug underfoot allow the clients to enjoy meals with friends and family, worry-free!
