Perri Swift Interiors designed this family-friendly kitchen in Short Hills, New Jersey to complement the home’s 1920’s architecture, while expanding the footprint to allow for plenty of room for meal prep, dining, and homework. We kept the color palette neutral with white cabinetry, a white oak island, and brass hardware and fixtures to keep the space feeling timeless, while introducing more modern touches of a Zellige-tile backsplash and statement light fixture. The countertops are a durable and indestructible natural quartzite and the fabrics used on the chairs and counter stools are performance-grade, ensuring that this young family of four will be enjoying this kitchen for years to come!
